Air Capital Disc Golf Club Agenda  

October 16, 2018    

Call meeting to order: (President Jerry @ 6:08 pm)

Roll Call: (Secretary)      Jerry, Marty, Bill, Ben, Daniel,  Jeff

Minutes from last meeting: (Secretary) approved with corrections   Motion Bill 2ndDaniel  passed 6-0

Financial Report: (Treasurer) NA

Parks Report:  Millbrook-replacing dead trees, Parks dept. does not want young trees trimmed, baskets moved to all short for winter (10-16) by Rob Anderson, discussion of possible bridge on hole 5.  –Cessna-signs are currently on hold unitil few changes are made, all regular course layout pads are poured plus championship 15 pad.  Oak-championship 10 placement damaged and removed, working on replacing. Herman –hole 12 trimmed and set in shorts placements for Round Up.  Derby-still working to get new baskets, Mulvane-club donating a couple tee signs to replace broken ones. Colwich- all tee pads but a few yellow ones are installed

Events Report:  Wednesday league will move to 1:00 pm with rotating courses.  Winter league schedule is in the works,  poll is up to see if Saturday or Sunday is preferred by members. Locations will be on a rotation schedule.

Communications Report: event page is set up for Round Up, new Membership Drive flyer posted

President’s Report:  Jerry is trying to get on committee for Clapp park development

Old Business:

            1. Membership Drive/bag tags  Membership drive moved to Oct. 28, 2019 bag tags are in, club will also have a putting contest and raffle to raise funds for the club, motion by Ben, 2nd Marty Passed 6-0 to purchase 2 Westside baskets for the raffle at membership drive, trophies will be ordered and delivered after the tournament

            2. Round Up –on line registration is up and going, ob rules posted, Dynamic Discs, Hyzernaut, Heartland Discs, Taco Shop, have donated items.  Players pack materials are ordered.  Trophies are being ordered by Jerry.  Water Center will be headquarters.   90 player limit, course workday will be scheduled the week before.

New Business

            1.  Weekly league play May add a 2nd weekday league-day determined by weather, poll up on line to gather information on weekend league play

            2. Club Revenue streams  (no discussion)

            3. Discussion on pets on course during league.  Motion presented- Jeff, 2nd Daniels, passed 6-0: Pets at league play must be on a effective Nov. 15th.
